The Pearl - story about time
Added 2022-12-25 18:49:48 +0000 UTCProbably most of you, my dears, know that I run Your Heritage Foundation. Non profit organisation that takes care of monuments, art, culture, history. One of our main projects, and my beloved one, is the Pearl - rebuilding and giving new life to former Protestant temple. Abandoned, destroyed by time, looted by people, left to oblivion... Space so unique. Filled with very own energy, that have never given up, even in the darkest moments.
With slowly steps, patient work, passion and good hearts of kind people who also feel the Magic of this place, the Temple of Art & Light is able to flourish more and more each year, to host different cultural events.
Many of details which you can see here, remind about transience. Skulls of animals found in the forest, in the ashes of huge fire, old patterns connected with new elements which were necessary to save the sanctuary from total ruin. Is the story over? After every stage of renovation there's a beginning of new chapter.
Who am I in Your Heritage Foundation? The "boss", however I really don't like thinking about myself this way...
