The Light
Added 2023-01-02 11:12:20 +0000 UTCLast year, after many perturbations, life throws me to live in quite cozy flat in the attic. You may know it from some of my photos. The months spent there weren't bad. I had time to rearrange lot of things, lot of thoughts. I enjoyed as much time as I only could in nearby forests, meadows, around the rivers, ponds. It was good place to rest after tiring works for my foundation - the Pearl and the next big project which we've started in 2022: taking care of ruins of the XIIIth century monastery. Unfortunately there was one, quite big defect of this flat. Lack of natural light. Result of this was less of interior photography. But it opened completely new chapter for me. I have returned to drawing, painting and have tried myself with acrylic paints on canvas for the first time in my life.
With the moment of changing the date from 2022 to 2023 I also changed the flat. One with big windows, through which I can immerse my imagination into the crowns of the Trees. Which allows the Sun takes whole days journey through my rooms...
Today I would like to show you series created in this very place, as well as, in depths of my imagination on canvas.
Beside the first painting I add also some acrylic paintings created in 2022.

I have all the blinds up even at night to enjoy the windows now. I like watching the shadows of dancing trees on the wall in my bedroom at night and admiring changing colours of morning sky, while lying in bed.
2023-01-03 06:53:30 +0000 UTCI can’t live without lots of daylight. I have an apartment that gets sun all year long, and the first thing I do every morning is open all the shades all the way up.
