Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt went into a bidding war to secure movie rights with Brad Pitts company obviously winning out. This movie was supposed to be a trilogy but I think it either didn't make back its proposed budget, or get to the mark they were hoping to green light sequels. It was a fantastic movie and I do wish they could of continued the saga, but such as Hollywood.

If you want to see a really good Brad Pitt movie, check out "Meet Joe Black, 1998. Anthony Hopkins also stars in it. Deals with death, but in a much different way. And...if you are looking for some more good Horror, check out the TV series "Interview with the Vampire", 2022. Only 2 seasons to catch up with and Season 3 in the works. It is based on Anne Rice's original writings and the original movie....but so much better in too many ways to describe here!! Phenomenal acting, insightful and very addictive!

It went way over budget and was actually raided by the police in Romania or Czechia (I forget which one), when people thought the guns being used were real. They had to re-write the ending. If you look at the end, you'll see part of the original ending with the Moscow scene. Pitts' kids made him make this movie. It was based off a book by Max Brooks (son of Mel Brooks - Spaceballs, etc).

2024-08-27 22:06:21 +0000 UTCThey wanted to actually film it in Philadelphia but the mayor would not give them a tax break. So they filmed it in Scotland and tried to make it look like Philadelphia. The far away shots are Philly but the close ones are Glasgow, Scotland. This city is dumb.
