First things first: the next post will be the schedule, as I'm currently working on the Extra Scene (Jaaaaaaane powa).
I know that delay wasn't exactly pleasant, even though it was only a few weeks, trust me, it was horrible for me. Because when I don't get things done, I get overwhelmed with things that need to be done... I know we all do that sometimes, but it doesn't change the fact that it makes me feel like crap, like no matter what I do, it doesn't matter... You know?
I will present two surveys in the days to come:
The first one will be choosing Olivia's final look. I ran a few tests to make sure her look perfectly matched her personality, and a new cut immediately appealed to me.
The second one will also concern the appearance. This is a tricky one. I don't want to introduce it to you until you understand why I'm doing it in the story (So maybe next release). Just so you know, this concerns Jane and the next episode of Kibō!
In both cases, it will be up to you to decide!
Let's move on to the fun part!
Spoiler: Events Overview
I've made a few changes to the originally planned timeline (In the Gifts). Mainly because this update was too Anna-centric. Even though (and I really shouldn't admit this, but damn it...) she's my favorite, I was worried it might be too much for one version. So I decided to open up the "Jane misadventure" branch in this update and postpone a variant for the big Anna scene.
Respectively, you will find:
A beautiful run for Jane, questionning everything going on in her life right now...
A new mini game with a reward system included (Exclusive render)!
If you are on Anna's route, a risky situation for John while working at the restaurant.
Jane's corruption will be tested on the subway back home...
If you are on Anna's route, Jane may TRY to follow John to his "meeting"... Her corruption may be too high for her to reach the final destination...
And finally, one of the two big Ana scenes This one will take place without Jane finding out. I have to think about what I want to show if she finds out that John is Anna's slave. Please note that this scene has option. The more you submit to Anna, the further she will go and the more you will see...
The future (Part 2)
In the previous Sneak Peek, I talked briefly about new girls I'm working on. Right now I think my line up for the next episode is ready. I just need to push the story there. You will be the first to meet the new girls. One by one, in time.
Some of you may be wondering how I'm going to manage so many characters, the main reason lies in the story. You need to ask yourself: why John didn't remember Olivia? You know there's a problem. But I hope the plot is good enough for you to continue with me in the next episode when we get there (Yes, I'm still talking about that scene with Jane and John on that bridge above the city, it's coming...)!
I'm not going to hype up the next episode too much, I'll really start teasing it once the key scene is actually in the game. For now, I'm focusing on the Extra Scene and getting ready to deliver V0.9.0! Remember that you will find all the information about the Extra Scene in the schedule!
