Bronze Tier is now live! Browse Anime-Planet ad-free, and avatar outlines for Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers
Added 2021-04-13 22:16:20 +0000 UTCA month ago we launched our Patreon page as a way for the community to help support feature development and site costs. We thank our Patrons greatly for your initial support over the past month, especially since there weren't any tangible website benefits yet.
We've spent the last month working with the Patreon API, and are excited to announce new features available starting today, including the much-requested ad-free browsing feature, starting with our new, low-cost Bronze tier.
The Bronze tier was created for those who want to support the site and care most about the ad-free browsing experience. It's $5 USD/month, and includes the ad-free benefit, as well as a bronze avatar outline that appears on both the site and forum. Bronze patrons also receive a "Bronze Supporter" banner on the forum.
Silver and Gold patrons now also have access to the ad-free browsing feature, as well as their own avatar outline color depending on tier. You can also choose to remove the outline entirely, or choose any color in a lower tier. For example, Gold patrons can choose from not only a gold outline, but also a silver or bronze outline.
Note that ad-free browsing works across the entire website, but not the video players, as these are owned by our industry partners, including the ads within. We can't control what appears in the players.
