When this one is up, I will prepare a poll with three scenes to choose from like I did with the previous animations. I will also render VR/Stereo versions of the previous clip and the upcoming one.

Teeth are done, and I am now working on the gums.
They will be integrated directly the main model, which is a bit unusual but better for this type of mouth.

Just a little preview of the snout area π½
I've experimented with better color variations for the fur, and I think I'll definitely make him with a light coat of fur instead of a dark one, it just looks a lot better.
And I've also spent some amount of time improving the snout's material, which now looks pretty realistic.
Back to work on that fur πΌ
The previous setup I made in Houdini for Sebastian's groom was a bit of an insane mess, so I spent a good amount of time simplifying it. It's now a lot easier to work on and make changes to Sebastian's 3D model without loosing any progress.

Last preview before release!
The final shots are being rendered, and I am pretty sure the video will be ready this week, probably on Thursday.
It will be about 3 minutes and a half long without the transitions and establishing shots I had planned, which I'll animate and add the following month.

Rendering started a couple days ago with a close-up of the action π

New scenery almost finished (I think... π€)
The trees lining the beach are essentially done, and all that remains now is a lot of tuning, adding details and variety to the scene (some rocks, clouds in the distance, etc...).

Computing fluid (FLIP) simulations at this scale is ridiculously slow, so I had to find a better way.
Basically, it starts as a simple, non-simulated water surface, which is then used to drive a 2D water solver (instead of an expensive 3D one) to create waves that can interact with the beach.
