Book2 Sticker pics!

The lighting isn’t the best in my apartment but I’m super happy with how the stickers turned out! :)

I’ll still have the book 1 sticker and the postcard available at the Seattle and Iowa signings. And for those of you who can’t attend the signings I still plan to have these available for you in the future.

Stabby’s Color

Hey guys! I wanted your opinion on what color you think Harpy’s beetle should be.

In the recent Bird Boy episode I chose a main color for each of the boys and then made their beetle a complementary color.

I originally chose green for Harpy but he also has a ton of yellow in his design so it would make sense for his main color to be yellow and Stabby to be purple.

I’ve also been trying to figure out their names lol. All the beetles are female.

Book 2 Signings

I’ll be doing two book signings for the release of Castle Swimmer book 2 in Seattle on June 3rd and I’m coming back to Iowa for the second signing in Des Moines on June 6th! (My Bday lol) :)

I’ll be handing out the new free sticker plus the other sticker and postcard!

Book 2 Sticker

I tried to make the lines thicker and the text bigger since I felt like they were a bit too thin on the first sticker.

I forgot to test the colors in CMYK while drawing this so I spent forever adjusting to try to match them as best I could 😂 I always forget that colors look a bit different when printed so I hope they turn out okay!

BB Sketches May14th

Today I mainly wanted to work on improving their wings and their little bird feet.

Wings are pretty tough to draw 😂 I really have to study a lot of references to get a feel for them.

Doesn’t seem like I drew that much since it’s just two sketches BUT I find that when I really study my references closely, I can learn a lot even with just one drawing.
