This was a lazy night for me. I was mostly just prating stuff while I had FLCL playing in the background. Here's the results of that.

We're at that point where I'm just tweaking and polishing up some things before adding all the bells and whistles. It's meticulously slow, but it's worth it.

Think of this as a "last minute Valentine's Day" type thing. Honestly, I just missed doing quickies. Once again, I used the "special list" for this.  Three random words plus a two hour timer. It's good fun, and I hope you guys enjoy!

Tender Lovin' pages 9-10 WIPs

Sorry for the lack of uploads. It's been a hectic couple days. I haven't been able to draw as much as I planned to, and today in particular is a pretty off day for art. Anyways, thanks for bearing with me.

Tender Lovin' pg. 9-10 WIPs

Things are moving at a smooth pace. I wrote down a solid outline for where things are gonna go, and I'm really happy with it. This is definitely gonna be a lot more emotionally charged than anything else I've made. Now the challenge is translating that onto the canvas!

Cooter Studies + page 8 WIP

Like I said yesterday, I was gonna do some studies. And I decided to let y'all in on it. It's pretty rough, but I just needed to get a good idea of the shape and anatomy. In page 8, I feel there's still a little wonkiness to it, but it's not anything to lose sleep over.

Thoughts on Future Patreon Requests

Idk if I ever mentioned it here, but doing those Curious Cat and Retrospring type stuff really helps me stay sharp. Just to be brief, it adds an element of unpredictability that I thrive on creatively.

Page 7 WIP

Today, I was mostly focused on doing Retrospring drawings, but I ain't gonna just leave y'all hanging. I was able to pretty much knock out this whole page today, along with the three Retrospring responses. This is a good sign. I'm getting back into the swing of things. We'll be on the schmoove sooner than later!

Tender Lovin' Pages 1-6 WIPs

I think I have a solid foundation for the first part of this. Going forward it's gonna get spicy. But first, I want to focus my efforts just on finishing up these six pages. Making sure they're rock solid before moving on to the next bit.

Rent's Low in Limbo Vol. 1 (Archive)

One down, two more to go! Don't get me started on how tedious this was. I had to rename all of my files so it can all be in sequential order. All 124 of them... But it was worth it for you guys. I included a couple of unseen/unfinished gems in here as a bit of a bonus. They kinda flesh things out a bit like Shara and Anzee's relationship and all that neat stuff.

Lil' personal update

Took a break yesterday, but I'm feeling kinda weird. Maybe it's that "post break grogginess" or I just need more time to recharge. So I'm gonna take things easy and just do what I can for now. Be that some doodles or a bit of work on that archive. Then, I'll take the whole day off tomorrow or until I'm back at 100%. 

Basically, I just want to let you know that uploads might slow down...

I admit, I forgot to begin recording for about 30 minutes. I'm not used to doing these, but someone mentioned doing time lapses, and I think that would be a neat thing for you guys. Seeing me struggling with a hand for a bit too long.

This was just gonna be that part on the left, but it spun out into something more. I'm really liking it tbh. I haven't drawn Mado and Jet really "together" in detail like this strangely enough. It's a nice change of pace. Let me know if you want me to keep adding on to this.  

Thing I never posted (probably)

I don't think I ever posted this. I think it's because I have a weird relationship with Jet's name. I'm not a big fan of the name tbh. It reminds me of the Avatar character too much. It was just a placeholder name that just kind of stuck. "James" being his REAL name was gonna be my sly way of renaming him, but the thing is... I don't like the name James for him either lol.

Eye Cheat Sheet

I'm trying to show more behind the scenes stuff even if it isn't that significant. Just because. Maybe some of you will think it's neat.

Right here is a showcase of the eyes of some of my characters. I try to make everyone eyes different. Even in small ways. I just think it makes things more interesting to draw.

Idk if I should post these publicly today or not. Since it's "off the cuff" it feels weird holding it back for weeks. Plus that whole "Mado being banned form the Wank Room" thing could be good retroactive context for Overtime. Just thinking out loud though.
