BONUS SNEAK PEAK: SUIT YOURSELF, PAGE 9 (PROCESS WIPs)

If ever anyone's curious just how many pages take multiple sketches or retries, this is one where it was several times in the doing XD Panel 3 just wasn't working out, until I built a grid; plus, as is often the case with my lazy behind, I love sequential front-shots, so that's how it wound up (helped the flow of panel 2 and 3, too!)

Okay, we start automatically with our two locks, so that's

ALAKAXANDER = MUSCLE

With Vanilla and WG left, our 2nd lock had the most in WG, so

Trying something slightly different for this month's comic, with a bande dessinée (BD) style approach! A long-forgotten Belgian comic from a notoriously private artist in the 70s has been found & restored! It seems to be about a court magician's bungling assistant dragon, who has to replace his Master right before the King's party–with wacky, oversized results...

CYOA #5: BIGSTARS, PART 10 & FINALE

I took the beat outline for the ending, saw it was making things too long and drawn out, and decided it would be smarter to cut stuff and trim things down. So, I did. I stopped and restructured it, then trimmed scenes AGAIN.

I felt pretty good about it. I didn't want it to end up in that classic pitfall, where only a few characters are useful and everyone else just p...
