I hate the way this looks, but I was also really tepid in doodling this. The whole time I was worried I'd start feeling pain so I kept it all broad and loose without drilling in like I normally would. Just taking it slow.

Update: Getting help for my computer + Current art delay

Not too much to say on the computer front, other that I've temporarily switched to a backup computer that technically has tablet support, except at a totally lower resolution, meaning that any upcoming practice doodles are going to look even rougher than they already would.

Recovering from a Hand Injury

Much like last year, my drawing hand is acting up again, so I'm resting it. I've told others about it, but I hadn't said anything here because had everything gone to plan then I'd be back to normal and drawing today, but you can't rush these things sadly.

My policy has always been to freeze pledges if I can't get back on the saddle in a timely fashion. I'm not sure how that'd work out now...

I'm working on a Zoey comic

The 1st page is done, but I need to finish the 2nd page before I can post anything. Basically I don't want to post the setup to a joke without its punchline. You'll understand.

And as with anything I do, I'm pushing myself to do things that I haven't done before so stay tuned.

I did elaborate on Henry the last time I drew him. It was as much an ugly vent piece as well as an attempt to really flex my visual writing. But there was a moment in that comic where Henry and this Unnamed Clown have sex with each other, and Henry silently takes the Fool's Curse into himself.

That unnamed clown is shown to be kind, attentive, and loving, but Henry has unfinished matters....
