Avian crest colormorphs

Avian brights produce three skin pigments: the usual blackish brown, cyan, and yellow. Normally the colors come in seperated bands of yellow and blue, with some difference in spacing, ratios, and intensity. The lines were too light on this page for my scanner to work, so I took a photo, but that was equally shitty, so I started to sketch lines over everything, but then got lazy and only did the speech bubbles. It'll be finished in a few months anyways.

Talita and Gillie find ways around their communication gap. :^)

Centaurs can make a subsonic booming noise through the air outtakes on their sides. This is below normal human hearing range, but can cause noticable vibration in closed quarters. Talita didn't grow up among centaurs and doesn't know any of the boom-speak languages, but she will sing to herself when alone. Gillie can't hear anything...

Bonus Comic: Disconnect 1

Centaurs are a newcomer to the galactic playing field, and still rare enough that efforts at inclusion are dismal. Even though neither avians nor centaurs have nible hands with lots of digits, avians have a lot more resources available for learning and speaking sign languages.

This is inconvenient for Talita because Gillie, one of her human crew mates, is deaf.
