Ant Hive

The first drawing is from years ago, the second is from yesterday. Even before these I tried drawing the ant hive as a classic "ant hill" but it felt almost too much like the bee hive, but boring and on the ground. More bees

I also drew these, before I redid the queen. I'm trying to figure out what the workers and drones look like. One of my favorite things about bees is how stocky and fuzzy they are, like a lil pill shape with legs, but I was having difficultly translating that into a humanoid shape. I think the drone turned out the best visually, but he doesn't have a real pelvis, which he kinda needs.... so i can p...

What should I work on next?

-Pictures of the ant hive and bee hive from MCM, or

-More comics and drawings of Starways cast (mostly the 2 avians, who I haven't posted much about)

Laughter in humans is derivative of a panic response, and usually involves panting and shouting at the same time, teeth baring, and eyes narrowing. "Laughter" response in ferrets is also panic-derivative, and involves frantic leg movement, sticking their tongue out, and high pitched screaming.

I've though an awful lot about what a spider turning into a human would
look like, and there is unfortunately no way to make it look pretty.

These are going to be minimal.... I will color and finish them eventually, but for now I just need to just get them drawn and out. Finished pages may be published in groups on my tumblr, like "issues," instead of as single page installments.
