The next scene in the comic required figuring out the layout of the laboratory Chkbrr and Rzzt-tt work at back at the coast. I'm especially pleased with the chairs, they are like bird perches with an ankle cushion.

Woo! I'm done with are the artwork I needed to make (for now, the future is full of surprises). This will be a three part (including the base) acrylic table stand with a layered perspective effect. Never made art for something like this before so I'm very curious to see how it turns out.

The bloodwort (Isoetes sanguii) pages are done! These are my two favorite sections of the spread. It has hollow silicated blades for bloodletting unfortunate fauna, and a modified comb-like ligule for absorbing the tasty red animal juice. This was a collaboration with botanyshitposts.tumblr.com, who wrote the text that will accompany this artwork.

The editor portraits and a WIP of an interior illustration/promotional image. I was gonna do something more complex and digital for the portraits, but I have like 7 different art pieces to get done by this weekend so I figured the watercolor was enough of a gimmick. It is the aquatics issue, after all.
