A sketch I did on the ride back from where I spent christmas. More rough than normal, due to being in a moving vehicle. 

Got my medication again.

Now back to working on regular art and commissions. 

A slight update to the Full Moon pic

I wanted to try adding a background in a different color. I had wanted to add a background to the original version, but it was already pretty busy, and I was worried that adding a background would make it too hard to see the characters, as it had in old attempts. So I went out to grab some grey multiliners....

I'm still experimenting with the cell shading and hatching, this was a test of using it in a comic panel type format. What do you guys think of it? I'm also considering getting some grey pens for use ...

Atonement

Kanno, my follower in Pathfinder, had his mind messed with and he did some terrible things to fellow party members. So when they had a bunch of archers firing upon them in a later fight, he drew the fire of many of them onto himself, trying to atone for what he had done before. Trying to protect the others, even at the cost of himself.

I've been having some difficulty getting enough art done, between work picking up for Christmas, and because i've been out of my medication for most of the month.

First Convention

So I'll be going to Furry Weekend Atlanta in May. I have no idea what to expect, and might be panicking a bit. So I ended up drawing this up quick.

So, I'm going to my first convention in may, with two of my close friends. Something I've always wanted to do, but never thought I'd get to. 

One of the reason I'm going with them is so I don't panic and flee due to social anxiety. 

I was trying my best to make sure the two of them look different enough, one being a dog, the other being a fox.

One problem to the next

The back pain that made it difficult to sit to draw has mostly healed. But when I went to continue working on the animation file, I realize....somehow...even though I remembered to export it as a gif, I somehow forgot to save the actual art file. so I lost about half of the progress I'd made on it. 

Not the end of the world. just annoying.

My roommate wanted to see the DM of our pathfinder group, who is normally drawn as a kitsune, drawn as a cow instead. And then our resident pun-maker made the pun that is now the title.

Animation WIP

I know things have been a bit sparse lately, and I apologize for that again. I'm working on getting some more stuff done again. in the meantime, have a work-in-progress of a transformation animation for Malcolm. 

Figure Drawing 11-19-2018

I used to use figure drawing sites on a near daily basis, but it's been a long time since I did so regularly. I need to get back into it, preferably digital to also practice accuracy in digital sketches. though after the 45 minutes I did today, I had to lay down for nearly half an hour before my back stopped being too painful to move.

"He" is a kitsune that has a male human form, but female fox form.  He identifies male because he's spent the majority of his life in the human form. But his fiance really likes his his vixen form and she convinced him to go to the wedding in that form (for this picture....

there's gonna be more if i finish it, but it's 5am and i need to sleep, so have a very rough storyboard of Imhakaru denying the piscadaemon the oportunity to dispel his human form again. By disabling it himself before the piscadaemon has a chance to.  This is non-canon of course, as the chance of them meeting that piscadaemon ...

The king's announcement

I wanted to draw up a comic for when Imhakaru finally announces to the people of his country that he's actually a kitsune. A secret that's becoming increasingly unlikely to stay hidden. So he wants it to at least be him to bring it to light, instead of being leaked by someone else as rumors or defamation.
