EILEAN CASTLE [60X50]

I've returned from my travels in Scotland! I visited a few castles, and one of my favorites was Eilean Donan. I've made a heavily inspired map, trying to be accurate with many of the rooms being based on what we saw. However, I took some liberties and guesswork here and there. This was quite a big map, so I apologize it took a while for a release.

Some of the rooms we got to see were th...

SENTINEL'S PASS [30x40]

Nestled within a rocky gorge stands a weather-worn checkpoint, its presence marked by two rickety wooden bridges stretching across the chasm, each anchored between looming palisade watchtowers. A modest encampment occupies the grounds, tasked with overseeing all who attempt passage through the narrow mountain pass. Suspended above the path below, stone-filled troughs await the pull of a lever â...

ALCHEMIST'S HOLLOW [25x30]

I wanted to try doing a hollowed-stump type map, maybe for a witch or hag brewing potions in the woods. This dwelling spans four distinct levels:

Living Quarters:
A rickety stairway climbs the exterior of the hollowed trunk to the third floor, guiding guests to a deceptively welcoming home. Just inside the entryway is a spiral staircase leading to the upper floor. ...

Building Focused Variant Poll

An alternative idea for variants would be to keep the SAME biome for the map and have different building variants. For simplicity's sake, I would tend towards the more popular biomes, or do whatever feels most fitting for the specific map.

I would do 1, maybe 2 biomes, but making more than that would exponentially increase the time and effort required to make every combi...

LOG CABIN [25x25]

A classic cabin in the woods.

A lone cabin stands deep in the heart of the wilderness, its chimney puffing thin plumes of smoke into the crisp forest air. The scent of home-cooked stew lingers on the wind, and the warm glow of lanterns spills through the windows, a beacon of quiet, simple living.

  • Ancient Curse – The family has been afflicted with a ...

Which variants have you used?

I’m running a quick poll to see which map variants you actually use the most and which ones you’d love to see in the future! Your input will help me focus on the versions that are most useful to you. First, let me know which variants you regularly use, and then I’ll follow up with a poll on what you’d like to see next. Thanks for your feedback!

ELDERWOOD GROVE [30x35]

I wanted to make a much simpler map after making that big one earlier this month.

Deep within the ancient forest, where towering elder trees weave a canopy of shadow and light, magic lingers in the air like a whispered secret. Strange creatures move unseen through the underbrush, and the wind carries echoes of something old and powerful. At the base of a massive, timeworn tree stands a ...

FISH MARKET [40x40]

I probably could have thought of a better name but alas.

This expansive coastal map features a grand sea-themed tavern set aboard a docked ship. Given its intricate, elaborate carpet, the tavern is fittingly named The Compass Rose. Here, patrons revel in hearty food and drink, while those in need of rest can retire below deck to private quarters.

Beyond the ship, a...

MONSTER MANSION [30x40]

I had a deep desire to make a secret monster fighting den.

Carved into the sheer face of a towering cliff, this once-mighty dwarven stronghold has been repurposed into the estate of a wealthy and eccentric hunter. While the front-facing chambers serve as living quarters, the deeper halls conceal a far more sinister purpose—a hidden gambling den perched above a brutal monster-fighting p...

Lover's Crypt

After that last big map, I needed to go to something simple. What's better than a classic tomb?

This unashamedly Skyrim-inspired map allows for encounters with skeletons, mummies, grave-robbing bandits, and more. There are plenty opportunities for environmental hazards and traps too. At the end of the crypt is the tomb of the lover's wife, who is protected vigilantly event after death by ...

ARCANE UNIVERSITY [Fully Assembled]

Here is the university merged together!

Note for the VTT: The three parts are separate maps, but there are tiles at the "crossroads" between each map to change the scenes and teleport tokens.

GRAND HALL - Part 2 of 3 [Arcane University]

It's almost the new year! Here's to part 2 of the university.

Just south of the library lies the entrance to the university, accessible only by small boats that ferry visitors to the secluded institute. Nestled beneath the looming shadow of the cliffside is a modest dock and boathouse, which serve as the gateway to the Grand Hall. Within the hall, students and faculty gather to enjoy ela...

Hello everyone! Sorry for such a long break between posts. This time of year is definitely hectic, but I have a special three part map planned, featuring an arcane university.

Crystal Cave [40x50]

Adventurers yearn for the mines.

This map reveals a hidden crystal cave, deep underground and accessible only by a lone, rickety lift. Its walls shimmer with precious gemstones essential for rare and costly magical components, along with veins of metal that are refined and smelted on-site before returning to the surface. Owned by a sinister order of mages, the mine’s valuable resources...

Haunted Lakehouse [32x40]

It's spooky season, so what's better than some creepy old buildings by a lake?

The main building is the lakehouse, once a cozy retreat but now in disrepair. It contains a dining room, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and a pantry. The front door has been torn off its hinges, and the rotting wooden floors are littered with broken furniture. The back door swings open with a ha...

RECLAIMED KEEP [45x50]

I think I have a guilty pleasure of coming back to big stone-walled structures.

The keep, now a bandit stronghold, shows signs of both decay and repair. Though some of its ancient stone walls are crumbling, enough has been restored to make it functional for training and patrolling the surrounding lands. Most rooms and buildings are now used by weary bandits to rest after battle.

PIRATE COVE (35x42)

Hey everyone!

I managed to make a new map for this month, between all the house hustle and bustle. I should be able to release at least a couple more next month.

An archeologist recently uncovered an entrance to the long forgotten c...

Dragon's Fall: A Mountain Monastery [35x60]

Greetings everyone! This next map features what was once a peaceful monastery in the mountains that has since been corrupted into a lair of greed and violence. Murder Manor [40x45]

It took a little longer than I anticipated, but here it is: the murder manor! This map would be great to host a murder mystery given all the various rooms. Players can uncover clues to help them determine the culprit: a missing book...

Oops + Sneak Peak of Upcoming Map

Hi everyone! It looks like Patreon didn't charge for one of last month's posts. I'll have it "charge" this post in its stead. Sorry about this! I will try to be more diligent about double checking it in the future. ("Paid for by Patrons" does not necessarily mean charged, apparently. It just means only patrons can view it. Now I know!)

Foothills [40x60]

Hey everyone!

I was feeling outdoorsy and decided to make a wilderness map.

The land is carved into shallow canyons and ravines from previous rivers, leaving the terrain hilly and rugged. This particular map highlights camouflaged outposts, equipped with several observation towers to keep watch...
