Ruined Village Center, Expert

Hello Experts and Masters! This week I made the Ruined Village Center (30x30), a map featuring a destroyed farming town that is probably still crawling with whatever Goblins, bandits, or Slaad did the deed. Either way, it looks like your players arrived a little late, but maybe they can jump in before the remaining townspeople are dealt with!

And, if your players arrived really, View Post

Desert Ziggurat Revisited

Hi folks, I'm back this week with a Revisited post, the Jungle Ziggurat (30x30)! I mentioned the possibility of this post previously in the Desert Ziggurat's Behind the Scenes and since several of you let me know that you really liked the idea I jumped on it. I think I'll try to do that more often from here on out, and since I usually have a handful of ideas for my next Revisited map I think it...

Jungle Basin

Hello everyone! This week's map is the Jungle Basin (25x25), another map suggested on the Master patron Discord! The original idea for this one was a beautiful place like the environment you see in Lion King during "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?". I decided not to try to imitate it perfectly, but I really liked the idea and palette and I figured it's about time I make another Jungle map since ...

Jungle Basin, Adept

This week I made the Jungle Basin (25x25), a fun map for your players to face up against all the fun creatures you typically find in jungles, like dinosaurs or ents. Also, your alternate version of this map is a neat Sunset variant, which I think looks really nice with the waterfall's vibrant blues. Anyway, I hope you like it and don't forget to vote in the poll before Monday!

Jungle Basin, Expert

Hi Experts and Masters! This week's map is the Jungle Basin (25x25), a rare jungle map that will be nice for filling gaps in your Tomb of Annihilation campaigns. But, if you happen to be one of the people who aren't playing ToA, I prepared another version for you with a somewhat more Tropical palette, which has more friendly and vibrant colors that I think make the vibe more appropriate for a t...

Map Poll 9

Hello everyone, and welcome to the 9th map poll! Here I collect your suggestions and let everyone vote on every option they'd like me to make, and in a week I'll end the poll and total the results. After that, I'll have a list of the 7-8 most popular maps among my patrons and I can get to work. Also, note that you can vote multiple times- pick everything that you want me to make!

I've pop...

Desert Ziggurat

This week I worked on a map of my own choice as we've reached the end of the most popular options from the last poll, so I made the Desert Ziggurat (30x30)! Huge ruins are an interesting way to fill up sprawling deserts, making for tempting stops for treasure-hunting adventurers. Also, since to don't have many destination maps for this environment, I think this one will fill a nice niche!

Desert Ziggurat, Adept

Hello folks, this week I made the Desert Ziggurat (30x30), and for your alternate version you're getting the first desert map turned underwater, the Sunken Ziggurat! It was actually a little trickier than I thought, but I've got it figured out now. Maybe for this month's Revisited post I'll go back and transmogrify a few of this year's desert maps into seafloor versions, just to pad out that en...

Desert Ziggurat, Expert

Hello Experts and Masters! This week's map is the Desert Ziggurat (30x30), a huge tiered structure for your players to discover while plodding across a seemingly endless desert. Your alternate versions for this map, as you might expect when I make a desert map, is a recolored and relit Winter version as well as an extra sandy Sandstorm version!

The winter one is useful for filling o...

Goblin Lair

Hello everyone! This week I made the final map from the last poll, the Goblin Lair (30x30)! This little cave system has just a few twists and turns, but it has most of the essentials for whoever is occupying it, be they goblins, bandits, goblin bandits, or huntsmen. Also, this time around I decided to include a little bit of the outside area, as a treat, which might be nice for setting up an at...

Goblin Lair, Adept

This week I made the Goblin Lair (30x30), and your alternate version  is a shadowy Snowy recoloring! In addition to covering up the grass outside with a layer of snow, I also retouched the inside to have a more subdued and chillier palette with much heavier shadows. And, of course, it comes with a night version, so don't you even worry about it!

Goblin Lair, Expert

Hi Experts! This week's map is the Goblin Lair (30x30), a neat cave system with signs of occupation, be it goblin or otherwise (I vote goblin). Your alternate versions are redone to exclude the outside area of the map, making it entirely underground! Now you can include this map in any setting without having to justify the grass and trees outside, which will be handy for desert caves or deep un...

Rocky Seafloor

Hello everyone! This week's map is the Rocky Seafloor (30x30), my second underwater map! I wanted to whip up another so that you'd have something to accompany the first, and I figured I might as well start building this environment off of a nice and simple piece of open terrain.  Better yet, these sandy maps are great for transitioning into desert and winter maps, so it opens up lots of op...

Rocky Seafloor, Adept

Hi! This week I made the Rocky Seafloor (30x30), and for you I turned it into a desert map! Since it's all just rocks and sand, it's a pretty easy swap that just required some new colors and tweaked lighting, something that I could probably start doing in reverse to some of my old desert maps. Anyway, this one meshes pretty well with lots of my other desert maps, and I'm sure it will fill some ...

Hi Experts! This week I made another underwater map, the Rocky Seafloor (30x30)! I thought it might be nice to have a simple and open underwater terrain to accompany the first one, the Sunken Ruins., and also fit most any other miscellaneous diving adventure.

Your alternate versions this time are a Murky recolo...

Underdark Waterfall

This week's map is the Underdark Waterfall (25x30), the 5th-highest submission from the last poll! I don't often make underground maps, so this is a sorta rare one, and what's even rarer is it shows an entire waterfall. I'm not a big fan of waterfalls in battle maps- I think they generally don't translate well from a top-down perspective, but I figured I might as well try my hand at it.  View Post

Underdark Waterfall, Adept

Hello Adepts! This week's map is the Underdark Waterfall (25x30), and your alternate  version is a funky green recoloring and relighting that I'm calling the Cavern Waterfall. I think this one has a sorta jungle-y feel to it, and perhaps also gives the impression that there might be openings in the ceiling of the cavern for sunlight to filter through. Either way, it's a nice multi-purpose ...

Underdark Waterfall, Expert

Hi Experts! This week's map is the Underdark Waterfall (25x30), a neat place for your players to chase an enemy to the edge of a dramatic cliffside and suddenly have to fight both the bad guy and the horrible shrieking monsters that dwell here.

Your alternate versions this time are outdoor-lit mountain recoloring and relightings! These took a pretty huge overhaul, but I think it wor...

Forest Pond Revisited

Helllllo folks, for the final Revisited post of the week! This one is the Fey Pond (23x22) and Fey Pondside Camp, a remake of the Forest Pond with the colors and lighting of my Fey maps as well as the giant mushrooms and pink plants from the Great Tree Clearing.

I really like how it came out, and honestly, it wasn't quite as hard to put together as I thought it would be. The only re...

Astral Island Revisited

Hello folks, I'm back again with my 2nd revisited post of the week! This time I went back to the Astral Island and whipped up versions of two different environments, Tropical and Volcanic, both 30x30. Considering how the original map is primarily floating rocks with a flat painting behind it, recoloring the islands and adding different backdrops was a simple enough job. Simple enough that I tho...

Great Tree Clearing Revisited

Hello everyone, I'm back early with another Revisited post! Or, I suppose you could say I'm back exceptionally late because I now owe you 3 Revisited maps as I never posted one for April or May, and it's now June. Welp, it's time to pay the piper, so I'll be spending time this week making good on that, starting with the Elder Tree Clearing (25x25)!

This version of the Great Tree Cle...

Oceanside Ruins

Hello everyone, this week's map is the Oceanside Ruins (30x30), the 4th highest-voted option on the last poll! Oceanside Ruins, Adept

I'm back this time with the Oceanside Ruins (30x30), a dramatic location that is probably located just a little ways away from the Cliffside Ruins map I made two years ago- though I can't say you could seamlessly transition from one to the other.

Your alternate version this week is another Autumn recoloring, wh...

Oceanside Ruins, Expert

Hello everyone! This week I made the Oceanside Ruins (30x30), a neat place for a seafaring party to come to land and get turned into pigs by a local witch who calls these ruins home. Or perhaps some bandits or cultists have set up camp among the crumbling structures, but so foolishly have left the beach unwatched, a perfect angle for conniving mercenaries to get the jump on them.
