Part 3.
7 minutes in a good bit about adding shadow to hairs and layers.
36 minutes in for some reason I talk about Nanny Mcphee and her wart - I think it's to do with the little round area on the side of the head.
41 Tonal values - best way to get realism
1 hour 4 mins working on the head, less is more.

Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm, and to those who have bought the kit already - I've sold half of them in just two hours which is amazing. There are only 50 left - and I don't want to do a big sell lol, but these launch outside of Patreon tomorrow, so if you did want one I think now is the time.
I have some other things happening next week too - another very special one for Patr...

Some good points if you don't have time to watch the whole video:
37 minutes in I talk about noses and tonal values
44 minutes in the importance of getting your darks in because it sets the scene for the highlights and mid tones

October's focus video, the German Shepherd fur focus. You'll find the materials list attached below with the reference photo plus the blurred version of the ref photo.
I've used Polydraw .050 drafting film, if you don't have polydraw you can use grafix drafting film or duralar - however the duralar doesn't work so well with the slice.
You can try this on smooth paper, but the ...

Making a start on the Weimaraner puppy 🥰 white pastelmat board but you can use hot press paper if you wish. I want to concentrate on softness, lost edges and tones. Obviously we’ll be looking at colour and getting that pinky grey sheen 🥰

I mentioned this pdf last night in my live stream. It's excellent!!
One of my patrons, Cass created this, and I used it for the Look Out line drawing. I know not all of us have photoshop, but if you do this is an easy step by step guide in how to create a really useful line drawing.

Yesterday in Art Club, I talked about the necessity of creating a clean background when getting your images ready for print.
I use old fashioned ways of using photoshop, but promised I'd have a search to find a video that would help.
Well here it is! Fantastic, easy to follow and very easy to listen to :)

The focus tutorial will be the German Shepherd fur, and this will be on drafting film, because I'll be using the sl...

I'm so sorry it's taken ages to review this projector.
The video is a little rushed, but shows how the projector works, and shows how clear the image is and how amazing it is. It has a smart focus, so no trying to focus the image whilst trying to keep the projector still, it does it all for you - and from as little as around 6-8 inches away from your surface!!!!
I know the Art...
