Monster Concept

While I was doing dishes I don't know what came into me but I had to draw this out real quick. Its a concept for a monster for my graphic novel. I'm sure ill think of a name and biography for them and region info for future. What do you guys think?

Page 2 (WIP.01)

Fleshing out more of the page and even though it's not finalized it helps how things will look in the long run after cleaning up the linework when I put it in the full page. I should be able to finish this stage of the process on Monday and get the rough page going before finalizing everything. 

Daylight

I think one of the first things I need to invest in is a Daylight lamp, it's hard to work in a dark room with the daylight here is so short. 

Tools (Feb '17)

Here are the tools I have at the moment. I use the GraphGear 1000 series by Pentel sizes vary from .3, .4, .5, .7 & .9. and I use Hi-Polymer Eraser from Pentel as well. 

I like the feel of these pencils a lot, they have a weight to them so I don't need to 'press' for dark or defined lines with previous mechanical pencils. They work for me and it did take a while for me to find something...

Here's a look at a rough sketch of the page I'm working on.  The page layout so far on the left and is subjec to change.  On the right I'm trying to figure out some stuff to put into the panels in the left and I'm working on stuff like posture and etc before finalizing the work here.

Nameless Hippogriff

Hey guys just decided to do a doodle in my sketchbook of a nameless character from Decisive Desire while taking a break working on page 2.

Here it is, page one, let me know what you guys think.  I spent a lot of time really deciding out how to start out the story and I'm not that great with backgrounds and perspective and whatnot but you don't get better until you work on it.
