From gathering around long tables for big family dinners to playing games together out in the Peruvian sun, these joyful adventures will be cherished for a lifetim...

Sweet Gatherings Worth Remembering

The past few months have been filled with sweet gatherings worth remembering. Attempting —despite the intense jungle heat— to roast marshmallows over a bonfire, learning the new-to-Iquitos game of Gaga ball, organizing Not Forgotten family-wide competitions, and opening our city location, Aporcar, to the community for an original theater production debut... All this and more have kept every...

In uniform and ready to GROW!

What do you think of our school uniforms? Our boys are looking sharp and attending school with determination. Their dedication to learning inspires us every day!

Hard at Work

Highlighters out. Books open. Focus harnessed.

School isn’t always easy, but our boys work hard on their learning. They know that education is important and that the time they spend studying new material, figuring out difficult equations, and discussing complicated concepts is time spent investing in their futures.

We count ourselves blessed to witness their de...

Bringing LIGHT Back to Iquitos – Thanks to YOU!

Last month, we shared that our home in Iquitos was without power – an urgent and unexpected need that we couldn’t face alone.

Today, we’re writing with joy (and light!) to say: power has been restored.

And it’s because of you!

Your giving and your prayers – they we felt, and met with humble gratitude. Our goal was to raise $10,000 to cover t...

Having fun!

One of the biggest joys is seeing our boys having fun. One of our goals is to give them back their childhood which has been robbed from them by their circumstances. Having fun and removing their worries is a big part of that.

Leaving on a jet plane

We want to teach our boys to dream big and give them the tools to reach their goals.  Part of this is showing them the world outside of the Amazon jungle.  That's why before our boys enter high school we take them on a cultural trip to see Lima the capital and other important parts of Peru.  They have a little fun along the way as well!
