It's been a very, very slow year for me. I did get to paint a lot of what I wanted but unfortunately it didn't lead anywhere. I made a new portfolio, sent it around and got very little word in return. Those who did contact me back gave me their prices and honestly I made more doing private commissions.
Work wise, this was the worst year since I started 10 years ago. It's an understatement to...

For a past month I allowed myself not to work, this didn't happen since I moved out from my parents house. I took breaks here and there but even then I would work on something else. The last month was mostly devouring everything online that is cyberpunk (running a new ttrpg campaign!)... and trying to figure out what I want to do art-wise.
It took me a while to disassemble everythin...
I'm finishing up the final two pages for the first batch.
I'll upload it all here first, most likely Sunday night.
After that, the new website will go live on monday :)
From then on, I'll continue to work on the comic and promote it as much as I can.

So a past week was dreadful. My cat had severe issues with his teeth and a bacterial infection. I was with him most of the time, and I also took on some commission work so the dental surgery can be covered.
He is fine now, but due to his age (13+) and the infection, he had to have all of his teeth removed except his fangs.

Didn't have the chance to sit down and paint proper, but I did a quick color pass to see how it works with the drawing and I must say I like it.
It really took me a lot of time to find balance between quality and speed, and of course level up my drawing skill in general, so that this comic becomes a possibility.

Basic line arts are done, there is room for improvement with all of them but I will "update" their base appearance once I feel more comfortable with doing just lineart and determine their looks.

So I made a color sample based on that drawing.
The one on the right is the most common one for comics. Hard shadow, bold colors, priority in good linework.
Very similar to what's Incase doing and it's super fast.
