UK Tandem Tour (Episode 1)

The South West of England boasts some of the most beautiful coastline in Britain. It’s also some of the hilliest - but we’ll worry about that later.

Officially, it stretches from Minehead in Somerset, through Devon, down into Cornwall, swings past Lands End, heads back into Devon and terminates at Poole Harbour in Dorset.

At a distance of just over 600 miles, it’s popular to w...

Exclusive video: Tandem Tandem Tandem!

A few days ago Aishola returned from a 600mile tandem tour around the south west coast of England. Yes we documented the entire thing, and yes we do plan on releasing full episodes from the trip, but I imagine that won't be for a couple of months.

I put this little Patreon exclusive video together as a thank you for your continued support.

I appreciate you guys sticking around,

The Lost Episode of the World Unicycle Tour

Bit of a trip back in time for this one. I was searching through some old hard drives recently and came across an un-posted world uni tour episode I made back in 2016. It’s pretty embarrassing and the editing leaves much to be desired, but I hope you’ll enjoy checking out this cringey lost gem anyway.

In other news I'm back in the UK! (What a time to come ay?) And there may perhaps be...

Exploring Kyrgyzstan - a week-long Car Camping Adventure!

Happy New Year everyone! Please enjoy this monster 25 minutes video from last summer, documenting the trip Aishola and I took driving around Kyrgyzstan.

Driving Across Kyrgyzstan to Deliver Aid

At the start of August, Aishola and I hired a car, filled it with medical equipment and delivered the supplies to villages on the east of Kyrgyzstan.

Aishola had worked hard selling self-illustrated cards and had used the funds to purchase:

80 full body protective clothes, 120 drips, 500 syringes, 2 blood oxygen metres, 70 masks and 120 medical gloves

COVID cases were starting...

Top 10 Wildcamps From Around the World

Camping, and specifically wild camping, was a major element of my round the world cycle. It helped keep my costs down and in a lot of cases, really was the only way I was going to traverse certain of the more remote parts of the planet.

As a result I’ve ended up bedding down in some pretty interesting places over the years. So here’s my top ten list of most memorable spots I camped wh...

Kazakhstan's Mukur Road

There’s a lot of video footage from my round the world unicycle ride that for whatever reason I never got around to editing and releasing. Most of this stuff was from 'YEAR 1' of the trip, when my editing skills were still pretty sketchy and I really didn’t take producing videos so seriously.

As a result, footage was just left stored and untouched on hard drives never to see the...

Bikepacking Kyrgyzstan with Aishola

The rules of quarantine have recently loosened here in Kyrgyzstan, so Aishola and I took the opportunity to go on a little cycling adventure!

We headed up to the mountain foothills just south of Bishkek, with a few days worth of food and not much of a plan...

The Wally Watts Interview

Canadian Walter J. Watts rode a self made 43’’ unicycle around the planet from April 1976 to Oct 1978. For over 2 years he pedalled across 16 countries, alone and self supported.

As the only other person to complete a round-the-world unicycle tour, I was very keen to learn more about his epic ride. But minus a couple of photos and newspaper clippings, I really couldn't  fin...

Jumped into a zoom call with this chap today. Who is he? I'll give you a hit: We have quite a lot in common...

Still not totally sure how I'm going to mould our 2.5 hour chat into a video, but rest assured once I work it out, you guys will be the first to see it.

Stay safe,

How much did my trip cost?

I had a little time in lockdown, so I've put together a complete 'cost-breakdown' video for you. Hopefully this might give you an idea of how to budget you're own trip if you're considering making a cycle tour yourself. (After corona's buggered off of course!)

The Q&A video

Hey everyone, the Q&A is here! I’ll be releasing a second video focused on how much the entire trip cost/ how I financed it soon. But for now please enjoy this 37 minute video of Aishola and I answering questing - it’s not as boring as it sounds, I promise :)

PLEASE ASK ME A QUESTION

I’m planning to record a Q&A video next week. Please ask me any question your heart desires about my world unicycle tour and I’ll do my best to answer it. The more specific the better.

Final video update

I hope everybody's staying safe and staying home. The seriousness of things is ramping up here in Bishkek, with a total lockdown on anyone going outside from 8pm - 7am, and only essential outings permitted during the day. Aishola and I are starting to go a little-stir crazy stuck inside, but on the upside it's given me the last week to work on the final video.
