Lifting the curtain on brand deals that fail

Here's my next video. Although... this is not actually what it will look like because the sponsor pulled out at the last minute. Their branding strategy will focus on people with sensitive skin, and I think you can see why they thought this video didn't quite have the right feel to it... It's about getting cut! Is it clear? In this video I really loop before finishing the whole explanation, namely that when you turn, you ride on the side of the wheel that has a smaller circumference, but it would seem to me that that is heavily implied and fairly obvious once you hear that you drive on the largest circumference when riding straight up.

Ball bearings v1

It struck me as interesting that actually all the cool stuff of wheels happens on the OUTSIDE (rolling). A wheel with an axle straight through it is actually a pretty lame invention in comparison to the ball bearing if you ask me!

Any feedback on this version is appreciated!

Adverse yaw final version

Not much has changed actually. I added some lines and turned the wings to a side-view for some moments, as my girlfriend didn't understand what this weird droplet-shape was when she first saw it.

But my pilot friend said that this was way better than the videos he got in college, so I didn't change too much.

This is one of the videos I'm most proud of. Not because it is better animated or scripted more correct, but because I discovered this concept myself. It might or might not be a well-known concept, but the way I learned it was by thinking.

As might be obvious I'm a bit obsessed with simple mechanics. So I simply thought: "I'll make a video about rope, there will surely be something intere...

Mechanics of bow and arrow

At first I was thinking about how it it impossible to pull a string taught. This is because a string can not pull sideways, and eventually that is the only direction left to go, if it wants to be straight.

But this didn't really feel like a cool video. A string... yeah, and?

So eventually I ended making it about bows, because the same mechanism enables a bow to shoot very fast.

Driver61 made a video on Youtube about anti-ackermann steering. Fascinating topic.

I didn't think he did a superb job at explaining though. It was long, had technical language and it was not very visual, so I made him an offer to do a collaboration for a short, vertical version. Sadly he didn't respond.
