I'm back with an update as we're almost to the end of March.
You probably noticed that Accidental Monarch and Man of Miracles have not come out yet. That's because they have not.
They are both in the works, but Accidental Monarch (the follow-on to Majesty of Defeat) picked up a couple of story lines or paths that have to get cleared up, and Man of Miracles (the second succubus stor...

Two months down, ten to go.
In February, we saw Sex and Taxes, Marisa: A Springtime Escape, and The Road Home released. Marisa is a standalone story, but the other two should see more to the sto...

With my February publication schedule completed, I'm looking forward to the next month or two. The poll from last month wasn't conclusive on the novel projects, so I'm going to see which flows better toward its completion. I'm thinking it will be the 2000-years-into...

Hi folks.
I'm going to be posting more here in the coming months, with most of the posts member-locked.
While I'd love to have your financial support at the $3, $5, or $10 levels, there is a free member option that will get you a lot of the member-locked posts (but not Patreon-exclusive stories or most early-access chapters). I'd invite you to join at that level if you'd like to k...

I posted this on my channel on the RFM Discord, but you can answer here if you prefer.
I have three long-form stories (one might even call them "novels" that are substantially started. I plan to finish all three, but I'd like to know what my readers would find most interesting. The poll is below the mini-blurbs.
In this scene, Ray has just driven from Illinois to California to comfort his recent lover Donna's daughter April. She's headed off to work soon after he arrived, so he goes to see Donna.

I walked back to the back half of the house where Donna’s room was.
Her door was open, and I saw steam on the shower door across the hall. Looked too fresh for April’s shower, so I...

As promised, this is the first of what I plan to be a quarterly series of exclusive content for my patrons. My goal is to share something every quarter, and keep it exclusive here at least for 3 months, if not longer.
Last summer I stayed in a hotel with an interesting bar. This story is based on that bar, but the cougar and the accursed are completely synthetic.
The blonde cou...

Chapter one: Audited by a succubus
Banda sat uncomfortably in the office chair. He wasn‘t used to being intimidated by anyone, just because he didn’t really care that much about what other people thought. But as he sat on the far end of a huge hardwood desk, feeling a bit of hard wood himself, with two binders and a stack of folders containing the details of his finances for the las...

I've had some good feedback and a review for Majesty of Defeat, which inspires me to lean into the second volume of this series. I'm aiming to have it out by the end of February at this point.
As for what's coming in February and March:

In December 2024, I took a side trip into the late middle ages, in a way. A young adventurer trying to find his way in the world. An able-bodied virgin queen seeking a consort. A random battle that joined their bodies and their fortunes for life.
That story turned into 2025-01-29 16:54:27 +0000 UTC

I finished and polished Majesty of Defeat recently, finding a wrapping point around 28,000 words and having found unexpected paths from what was going to be a standalone story.
It's a blessing and a curse, of course.
The second volume is tentatively called Majesty of Reform, although I am not sure I like that title enough to stick with it.
I am about 3,200 words into Reform...

In December 2023, I posted "Tracey Rose," an intended standalone short about a pair of former lovers who reconnected. A month or so later, "Renee Tilden: Expresso Love" came out, and as I'd written it in December into January, Tracey showed up, and the story took a twi...

A week ago I posted a teaser from Majesty of Defeat, a story I wrote last month about a young man who sets off to find his way in the world, and a young woman with the weight of a nation on her supple shoulders. It was mostly written in about 8 days in December.
It's about ready to go into final edit, and final cover work, now that I got over the last hurdle.
Oddly enough, it wasn...

Last month I started, and mostly finished, a medieval-ish novella (my first story set before roughly present days).
A wandering young fighter happened upon what seemed like a casual ad-hoc battle game of some sort. Hoping to make his name, or at least his living, in the world outside his hometown, he took a challenge here. And he did better than he expected.
But Davian of West Fork ...

Just over a year ago, I put my first public work out into the world. Brewing Up Desire was a story I wrote almost ten years ago and even designed a cover for, with licensed stock art, and let sit in a folder for a few years. (It's the only story I don't have on Kindle Unlimited, and unless you're a big fan of sexy baristas and...
