Next patch is going to introduce the Sumeru characters and implement the Awaken mechanic, which you've probably noticed as a greyed out option when interacting with characters.
Awaken will let you hear the thoughts of characters as they react to your actions and their environment, with plenty of Easter Eggs depending on certain combinations you pick!
