Ah yeah this episode.. it's one of those episodes that I completely forget about after I watch it, like a lot of season 7. Although the speech Smith gives is the one of the only times he really feels like the Doctor in season 7b to me. It's a genuinely good moment when he's talking about seeing the birth of the universe and watching it die out until it was just him, and it's completely ruined when it doesn't work and Clara has to come in and save the day and babble on about her leaf
