Work Update

I owe you an update, here it is:

I cut my hand so deeply while cooking that I also cut one of my finger's nerves. I went to hospital and they did surgery on my hand to put the nerve back together so I don't lose the ability to feel on the index finger permanently.

I am unable to use my left hand (because it's wrapped) and thus a keyboard. If you wonder how I wrote this message: dictation and one-handed on the keyboard of my phone.

While it will take a year until my nerve is healed, I'll be able to use my hand again after the wound from the surgery healed, which should be quite soon.

I hoped that the healing process is quicker so that I could work on GoL, however, yesterday the doctors advised me to cancel this month's version.

I'm deeply sorry, but there will not be a new version this month. While I haven't formally pledged to release a new version every month, I've felt a desire to do so, knowing that there are people out there eagerly awaiting these updates. It kind of became a tradition. Thus, this is the first month in GoL's entire history of over three years in which there will not be a new version. It feels bad for having that streak let go.

This does not mean that I will cancel the entire tradition. I should be back next month again. In fact, I might even be able to release early next month. It's just a question of 1-2 weeks until I will be able to use my hand again.

Thank you all for your loyalty. I hope I didn't disappoint you too much. I might do some renders (or comics?) this month (it's doable with one hand) to come up for this. Feel free to leave suggestions!
