Introducing Pinky Violence

I’m thrilled to share this exclusive 20-page sneak preview of Pinky Violence — the first chapter of a novel that’s unfolding right here on Patreon, segment by segment.

This is the beginning of something darker and more intimate than anything I’ve written in a while. It opens quietly, with love and tenderness, but the undercurrents are already in motion.

As always, your early support means the world. You’re not just getting a first look — you’re part of the process, and I’m grateful to have you along for the ride.

Enjoy the read — and feel free to let me know what you think.

With thanks,

KT

I will follow up shortly with the remaining chapters that make up the first act. Embracing Ellie is almost done as well, but Pinky Violence Part 1 is the next release here on Patreon.

Comments

Any non-Saeko names are the fault of dictation and my inattentive eyes. Transcriptions inevitably render Saeko as Seiko. And thanks for the her-her--I also caught on a re-read I'd written "hem apron damp" rather than apron hem

Poetry

KT Morrison

Old, patient Argos... gnawing... crunching and slobbering away... worrying at the same bone with teeth still sharp. Whimpering and twitching... when he sleeps.

Bill F Protagoras

"Saeko wore black slacks and a cream-colored top; a plain apron protected her her outfit--" Redundant 'her' ? Saeko 'not' Saiko...

Bill F Protagoras

Squeezed nipples, pinched prose and sparing conversation. All in their own time... all at a steadying pace...

Bill F Protagoras

This one is dark in a whole different way that's summoning me right now.

Thank you!

Thank you! I speak Japanese as well as Ian does in this story (not that well). And forget about reading it! I have a lifelong fascination with the place and the culture and some other connections as well. The words are coming well with this novel. I'm quite far ahead with it. It's complex and mysterious and I'm enjoying the process.

KT Morrison

Liminal, 24 hours a day. I'm only imagining how awful Ian's trip would have been—kudos to the people who really do it.

KT Morrison

Never underestimate KT’s desire to get the details just so on exotic locales. And as they used to say on arriving at Narita: "Welcome to the New Tokyo International Airport at Narita, where the time is always 3 o'clock in the morning."

So beautiful.

You’ve wrote some pretty dark stuff this will be interesting.

Thanks for the sneak peek, KT! Seems like a really interesting world to play in. Do you speak Japanese by chance? You really seem to know quite a bit about the culture. That's really amazing. Hope the words come to you easily.
