2025-06-03 19:57:10 +0000 UTCI screamed when you said that about DYWTYLM being him talking to himself. I 1000% have always thought he’s talking to himself (so not a crazy take) and amazing to hear you come to the same conclusion based on the production as well. He’s brilliant.

That was also one of my favorite all-time albums with the story, the tempo variety, tonal variety, the little details, just all of it. This is probably the only album I've heard that comes close to it. So much of the same elements executed in Sleep Token's own way. There are even great lyrical callbacks and lyric flips that you may not catch on the first, or first few, listens. The background layering in TMBTE is the opening lines of Chokehold. And the final bit of Euclid is actually a callback to the First album, Sundowning. The first song, "The Night Does Not Belong to God" to be specific. Take Me Back to Eden is a great end to a Trilogy of deep and well executed Albums.

Also, the title track Take Me Back To Eden had callback lyrics to Chokehold at the end. Such a cool album. One of my favorites as well :)
