Hey everyone,

Feels like it’s been ages since I did a little update on here…

The December content (lessons/vlogs/tabs) are all coming real soon, I had to do a few really long editing sessions on a video earlier on in the week and it’s destroyed my hands and forearms. They’re just super sore and slow(?! haha), so I’m having to take a small break away from guitar and my desk…but rest assured it’s all coming and planned out 🥰

…got cool Polyphia and Pink Floyd tutorials on the way!

As far as other updates, particularly with the original side of things…for those of you in the Gold tier and above, you’ll hear these updates in my vlogs BUT! Some real exciting things are on the way, headed to a rather legendary studio in the new year for something coooool and I can’t wait to show/tell you more on that.

Really excited to come back to the original music scene and start playing live again 😍

The only other thing I wanted to quickly chat about is YouTube! Some of you might’ve noticed all of my GNR covers have gone missing 😖…YouTube removed them all due to legal complaints/copyright, which is okay…it’s a risk you run every time you post a cover. However, what’s scary is quite a few people I know received copyright strikes over the same content (luckily I didn’t, not sure why but thank goodness), it only takes three strikes to lose your channel entirely. If I lose my channel, I lose my job 🥵

This little experience has basically just pushed me to make more of an effort to make different styles of content (all still music related) rather than posting covers alone, as it’s quite risky these days unfortunately. There’ll still be full length covers on YouTube but they just won’t be as frequent as they were as I’ll have to make all of the backing tracks from scratch. Instagram will still have lots of covers tho!

…I’m kind of excited to head in a slightly new direction, it might be more interesting and sustainable long term. Ultimately, as long as people find some joy or use in watching my videos, I’m still happy ☺️

Anyway, that’s what’s mainly going on at the moment! Excited for what 2022 brings…
