Thought I’d share some pics of what I got up to last night. I went down to Radar Festival yesterday and got to see some of my favs play (Plini & Dirty Loops)!
It was so lovely to meet some of my Instagram “friends” in the flesh. I’d never met Mike, Plini or Henrik before so it was really special!
Plini was the inspiration behind my one and only released track, Tranquility. When I saw him last he was supporting Periphery on their U.K. tour in 2019, I was so mind blown and inspired I went home and started writing Tranquility the next day. He was so complimentary and lovely…was really surreal!
Mike is hilarious and so humble, check out his stuff if you aren’t familiar because it’s wild…total acoustic virtuoso (Mike Dawes).
And Henrik is the most genuine guy there is, we didn’t get to chat loads but he’s really lovely too! I discovered Dirty Loops during our first lockdown and their songs kept my spirits up throughout 2020! His bass skills are literally from another dimension, it’s insane haha. If you like TOTO and MJ, you must check out Dirty Loops immediately!
Anyway, hope you all had a lovely weekend. I’m back on the working wagon today and planning for videos I’ve gotta film this week 😍 still catching up on sleep from last week 😂

That's great Sophie!!! It sounds like you, Mike, Plini, and Henrik had a good time. Tranquility is such a good track. And so easy for me to simply say "Alexa, play "Tranquility by Sophie Burrell." I just have to be careful that Alexa doesn't attempt to order me the PRS you used in the video as it's a bit expensive. LOL

Tranquility is what hooked me to follow you in the first place Simply the best thing I had heard in years Honestly 🎸💯👏👏👏 And definitely will check Dirty loops out Hope one day you will revisit your instrumental writing once again But full steam ahead on the band project So so looking forward to this 💯
