It's fun to rewatch the season after knowing what's really going on and seeing how obvious it is that they were being tortured, the truth was hidden in plain sight. There's also almost never a scene were one of the four humans isn't present because without them around Michael and the other demons would have no reason to act good, I think this episode was the first one to have scenes without the humans, Michael talking to Shawn and the flashbacks pre reveal but in those the writers were very careful with how they worded things.

Don't worry, a lot of us didn't guess shit about that twist and it's still to this day talked about one of the best twists in TV shows! I couldn't help being reminded of my first watch when you were so confused and were like "wait what?" XD Honestly, this show is so well written and the fact that they put many clues ahead to keep the viewers go like "that's not really great for paradise" and the four mains character's traits, even Tahani and Chidi, in the flashbacks there were so many clues. After that twist, I rewatched s1 from the start and it has the greatest rewatch values. I remember all the theories about what s2 would be about and yeah I was a bit worried with the memory wipe plot too. I may have rewatched your reaction to the twist more than once XD It's so great you didn't get spoiled. Michael being a bad place architect was such a twist too and love the way his character completely switches after Eleanor guessed the truth. Also, the way he pushes that vase off the table is just like a cat XD And Eleanor's lines about Tahani and then going like "sidenot, I might actually be into Tahani" XD the best! And of course, every other inhabitants being actors does make so much sense too. I'm so looking forward to the next reactions. I personnally loved the show until the end, I rewatched it quite a few times and I still enjoyed it a lot.
