2023-05-29 13:46:18 +0000 UTCsome extra info about ep 1 to understand it a little better: one of the reasons why Gun gets cheers from other students as he runs to the school president debate stage wearing that casual jogging outfit and carrying a bag of food (and why he's doing that in the first place) is because he's dressed up as a VERY popular meme in Thailand where a politician (I think specifically the governor of Bangkok) was photographed looking like that on his way to the temple. pretty much every Thai reactor I've watched bursts out laughing when they see it, but most international fans obviously miss the joke haha, and another thing that us international fans might not understand fully is that the reason people boo the song that the club plays at the competition at first, only to switch up really quickly a bit later, is because the song they're playing is a very famous rock song in Thailand (and actually the same one that the seniors played for Gun and his friends when they were looking to join the club in year 10). so the audience recognised the song as not being a folk song, making them not like it, but then when the chorus hits and it becomes obvious that the band has re-arranged it to fit the genre of the competition, everyone loves it! I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of your reactions to this series, it's seriously so so good and definitely one of the best ones out there. you're in for one hell of a ride!

I haven't finished yet, but what I've seen has been lovely. btw I don't know if you noticed, but there are some fun actor crossovers between this and moonlight chicken 😁 The main leads Tinn (the school pres) plays Heart, the deaf kid and Gun (the band guy) plays Liming, the nephew of Uncle Jim in MLC. Also I'm pretty sure these two shows might be Fourth & Gemini's first roles, so they're doing really well imo. The best friend of the school pres here is in MLC too, he's the guy that works at the restaurant and lends his bike to Liming.

I was so surprised by this series in general, didn't expect that much when I started watching it, but the twist at the end, the music, the chemistry and the lightheartedness really charmed me from the start. This was my happy pill series at the end of last year and beginning of this one, I'm so hyped to see your reactions ! The Bad Buddy vibes are real! No wonder since the director was assistant director on Bad Buddy, he also played Toto in Bad Buddy, the guy who directed the BL play, now he's got a full BL series hehe The actors as well, 80% of the young cast was in Bad Buddy lol One of the Chinzhilla members (the music band), with the glasses, that's Prom, he played Mo, one of Pat's friends. And Tiwson (Tinn's friend and supporter) played by Mark who was Chang, also Pat's friend. The senior, Yak, is played by Lotte and he played Safe, one of Pran's friends. And for the rest, they played as on offs chracters in Bad Buddy. So yeah, the Bad Buddy vibe is definitely real but the series has got its own uniqueness and value. For the character names, here are the main ones: For the band, we have Gun (the leader), Win, Por, Pat and Yo. For the Student council: Tinn (president), Tiwson (vice-president) and Kajorn (secretary). I'm surprised you didn't recognise the two leads since they're also in Moonlight Chicken ;) same with Mark who plays Leng in Moonlight Chicken. The music is a whole vibe in this series. They did some really great covers and 9 original songs (and 2 more in the Our Skyy special episodes). The entire cast is so talented for real. The intro song is an original and you definitely should check the full songs later. The pacing on the series is quite good despite such long episodes (some are over an hour long). I honestly never got bored watching it. It's going to be a fun journey for you, that's for sure! Can't wait for the next episode reaction!

2023-05-28 17:54:28 +0000 UTCThis series is just superb! Full of life and joy, the OST is amazingly full of so much fun original music, and it literally makes you so insanely happy. It's my current favorite BL of all time and really did help me alot earlier in the year when I was going through shit it just heals my heart. These episodes are actually quite long but they never ever feel that way and all the characters are lovely. if you love it this much now every episode tops the last and only gets better from here! enjoy!!
