Another enjoyable reaction. First time I watched this one, I didn't particularly enjoy it but it's not bad either. As you said, it has an interesting plot and once again we dig deeper in lore and we get variety for the plot. A demon taking over the internet is such a scary thought... Buffy doesn't shy away from getting dark... be prepared for that... One thing I love about the episode overall is Giles and Ms Calendar, their dynamic is so entertaining! Also, can't wait for you to see more about her. And the end scene is funny XD Their love life is doomed... XD

2023-06-03 10:09:38 +0000 UTCIt's kinda funny you liked this one because this is known to be one of the ones people dont like..but rewatching it now its not even that bad, again another creative premise some fun costumes, a funny ending and just an enjoyable time. I feel like it doesn't age the greatest due to the technology and kinda the outdated PSA of being careful on the internet becuse it was so new back then but there were some great moments and dark ones as well. Super happy you are able to watch this with no outside influence because it really does help your form your own opinions and maybe be surprised by this season as a whole. We have seen the series before so when we look at it from that lens sure these earlier episodes may be a bit underwhelming but for first time veiwers, they may feel differently.

I don't know if it's a Brittish thing or a Liam thing XDDD Some people say this is a bad episode, but the only complaint I have is Willow opening the door of her house saying "dad, did you forget your keys again?" >_< You can read "trap" written all over the script -_- True that Xander is deeply flawed and can turn eyes rolling into a national sport, but that's one of the reasons why he's so interesting in my opinion. As a side note, there are some characters in the Buffyverse that aren't just characters but symbols too. Xander is one of them. We'll talk about this further in the future.
