In general, ostriches are enormous while emus are just unusually big/tall.
2023-03-15 23:28:24 +0000 UTCI always thought the danger in this was because of what Kira mentioned about the electricity running around the turbo lift. Like, if he turned to a liquid and some of it dripped out of the lift he’d die. But Odo being embarrassed to do it in front of someone is fine too. Still one of my favorite trek scenes, even if the rest of the episode is a snoozer.
