Since last recap, some work went into the Halloween picture-set, and Ruca's scene has been further developed and is now almost finished.
Unfortunately work had to be paused for a few days last week, as my SSD crapped out on the 31st, hence the picture-set's delay.
A new T4 poll is out!
In this poll, patrons will be able to vote on which new feature they'd like to see added in this update.
A T2 poll will also go live soon.

As you probably noticed, the Halloween's picture-set wasn't quite released on the 31st.
What instead happened on the last day of October, is that my SSD decided to randomly die, after barely 6 months of use.
Fortunately, all my work is synched to the cloud, so nothing was lost.
The workstation was out of commission for a few days though, as I had to wait for the new SSD I bought to arrive.
On a positive note, Samsung RMA'd the broken drive without issue, and the replacement arrived today.
As I always do, I used the most recent seasonal picture-set to test some new graphical techniques that I intend to bring to the game.
This time I implemented some even better lighting, using multiple back lights and side lights, as well as ghost lights.
I also much improved my understanding of volumetric fog, and how it interacts with the lighting.
All of this will be useful in creating more atmospheric images, featuring things such as godrays, background mist, realistic fire and smoke, dust particles, and more!
In order to make the witches paler than their game's counterparts, I also expanded my knowledge of Daz's skin shader.
I'll be slightly tweaking it in the coming scenes, to try and make the characters' skin even more lifelike, although the changes should be fairly small.
A new T4 poll is now live!
Here, patrons will be able to vote on a new addition to implement in this update.
The options will be between a new feature/system, content for one of the girls that doesn't have any, a new side character, or to simply focus on the main cast of girls.
Depending on the choice, there will also be a follow-up T4 poll with a few options to pick from.
For example, the follow-up "feature/system" poll would include things such as the school system, the telescope, an apology/grudge system, etc, while the other options should be self-explanatory.
A T2 poll will also release soon, and will be used to decide which scene will be developed next, as usual.
This time all of the main cast will be featured, excluding Ruca as she just received a scene.
By the way, if you have any suggestions for the polls, do let me know in the comments or the Discord. :)
In the last recap I had mentioned that I was still undecided on whether to have the last part of the scene take place at a park or a beach.
I think I found a good compromise between the two: A promenade!
As you can see in the preview, that's where the final segment of the scene will take place.
As for the dinner, MC will now have the option to impress Ruca by choosing the right wine to pair with her meal.
This can of course backfire, should MC pick the wrong option.
Players may also let Ruca choose, which will reveal she's quite knowledgeable about the topic.
In v0.1.8, I also want to add some features that should make the game play a bit smoother.
Perhaps the most requested has been a way to show where the girls are located directly on the map screen, and this update should finally see it added!
I also have a couple other features in mind, but I'd like to wait until I'm certain I'll be able to implement them before revealing them.
If you have any QoL feature that you'd like to see added, feel free to suggest them!
I'd like to add a few in the next version.
