Mesa Castle
Added 2016-02-21 00:05:11 +0000 UTCFor a while already I have wanted to make a map of a building that's built on top of a mesa. I thought that it would be a cool idea to have a draw bridge connecting the mesa to a road leading to the fort.
When I started drawing this, I did not have a very good idea of whether this is going to be a fantasy or a scifi map. I was suggested that this is a castle of the desert dwarves. Very cool idea, I think, but I ended up doing this into a scifi themed map after all. But in case you want to have this as a castle of the desert dwarves, I wanted to attach map versions that should be equally suitable for fantasy settings.

And as a side note, I have started to study roll20 and Fantasy Grounds virtual tabletops a bit to make my maps more compatible with those, but it is likely that it will take some time before I can optimize my maps for these platforms. And I believe that all maps are not suitable for that use anyway.
