A Wrecked Cargo Hauler
Added 2016-03-18 14:57:31 +0000 UTCThis is not exactly an adventure, but more like a micro-setting or encounter that you can throw in your own campaign or play as a one shot. Making this took me much longer than I had planned and it's also the first multi-page Patreon release.
This map and encounter was largely inspired by the Expanse books and tv-series, and the Alien movies as well. when I wrote this, I imagined that this seemingly insignificant spaceship is a stage for conspiracy that will eventually determine the fate of the whole humankind... or an interstellar corporate empire, for example. I believe you get the point ;)
I did not include any enemies for better customizations. But I'm pretty sure that there's something lurking in that wreck...
The Capricious Bullhead
Capricious Bullhead, or just Bullhead for short, is a Ladybird-class interplanetary tug, that is typically used to tow cargo within a star system. The ship does not come equipped with an Oberman drive system, but it still has powerful ion thrusters that allows the ship to accelerate to high interplanetary speeds to haul the cargo fast to its destination.
Capricious Bullhead was lost en-route to its registered destination and the ship wreck is found drifting far from its intended route with no power. A close scan reveals that there are still a few warm spots in the ship and a few systems that are still online.
You decide what is lurking inside the ship or what is the conspiracy behind this ship's fate.
