PLEASE DON'T PLEDGE THROUGH APPLE'S APP!!
Added 2024-12-10 20:03:08 +0000 UTCI've been meaning to make this announcement since November. I just wish I was more proactive about it. I'm sure some of you are aware of what I'm talking about because of other content creators being more proactive about it, but if you aren't aware, I'm telling you this now. Apple's being money hungry with their app and charging additional fees. I already struggle with being consistent, but I don't want you guys trying to sign up and paying extra fees. I'm bringing it up now because I was going through Patreon's new features and it gave me a reminder (really need to start writing this stuff down or something).
I've also decided that I'll just keep my prices the way they are until New Years. I didn't want to up my prices during the Christmas season as I start posting more. Or for you guys to pay those additional fees on top of that.
So, if you're an Apple user and you're going to sign up and pledge, do it through the website not the iOS app to avoid additional fees. Those additional fees don't go to me or Patreon, but to Apple's greedy ass.
