Belated Birthday Redraw ver. Lucian

Two years ago (well, technically two years and ten days), I impulsively made what would become the first draft of NPCs. It started with a random page of sketches exploring a silly isekai idea. It was a nice stress relief while I wasn't working on the actual webcomic I had planned to make: Foxcross. Now, this purple twink has me in a chokehold and likely will for the next three years, so happy second belated birthday to him. He started off as just a side idea, but now I really do hold him very dearly.

I think that, especially in working on this and reminiscing, Lucian has become a lot dearer to me than I'd expected. His story is one I purposefully tried to keep distant from myself because I knew that it'd go through many, many growing pains. However, for as much as I find it embarrassing or cringey at times, I can't help but still love it as sincerely as I do any of my other projects. For a bit, I had worried that I would get to a point in which I would resent Lucian and the cast. I would work on this story for too long and it would one day feel like a hinderance to my growth, however, I feel more certain now that I won't regret it. Maybe one day I will become frustrated with it, but I won't regret spending the time I did with him and his many companions. It's a terribly indulgent story and world with almost none of the world building I'd often prided myself in, but it doesn't make it any less worthwhile. The people that have taken the time to support me through it all (y'all especially) have only made this experience all the better. I couldn't ask for a better project to really start my career with.

Also even though his creation date is May 15, his actual birthday is October 16th (I think?) He's a Libra with an October birthday, that's for sure hahaha
