Oh wow, GuFuo really hates this game, like he went into with his arms folded and WELDED TO HIS CHEST! Sure, it has its lumps and bumps . . . but man, really? Maybe it's a function of the time you have to play it, or something, like if you were irritated by a couple aspects and felt you were obligated to engage further with it. I was younger during my initial play and was delighted by the all weird, oneiric stuff around every corner; I had no issue with any part of it, and heck, the musical snippets you played during the interlude reminded me of how much those blippy little ditties helped get me in the mood. I'm sure I was impressed all the more because of *when* it came out, long before the endless indie onslaught that shows no signs of abating . . . but I need to play it again. I've got to see how I feel about it now. I'm certain I won't dislike it. And by the way! Resident Evil 6 *is* good. It's cheesy, epic, stupid and simultaneously gripping as both an action game and an RE game. Nobody can tell me 4 and 5 are good, then turn around and say 6 is bad and have me take them seriously. RE6 is roughly 3.5 times better than Village with its overhyped boobiepyre, yet I didn't think that was a bad game. A little underwhelming perhaps, especially with the doll bits.
