Upload Scheduling? POLL.

So right now, I generally try and post at least one animation a week, or an average of four a month. I generally just upload whenever I feel like long enough has passed since the last upload that I don't start running out of things to upload and suddenly have longer gaps.  But

I have a quick question for ya'll, and I'd really appreciate your opinion.  Which of the following options would you prefer?

Random Upload Schedule
- Sometimes, it may be a bit more than every week it's posted. Usually between 7 and 11 days.
- Sometimes it may be less than a week between uploads.
- Sometimes double uploads if more than a week has passed.
- Still aiming for an average of four upoads a month.

Once-A-Week Upload Schedule
- At least one thing will be posted every Sunday.
- Could be a simple loop, or a more involved animation.
- Planned and always stuck to, you'll definitely know you'll get something on a Sunday.
- Still aiming for an average of four uploads a month.

Those of you who have been around for a while will know that I very often exceed four uploads a month, but it's just what I've always stuck to. (This doesn't include ScrewingWithDash. It'll be four animations plus ScrewingWithDash.)

However, I know some people enjoy a more set schedule, and it will potentially make the feeling of "Screw hasn't posted in a while" when it's been 10-12 days go away and feel less random, since it'll definitely be one upload every 7 days without fail.

Let me know! And thank you so much for your continued support! It really does mean the world to me, and I hope you're all safe and happy!!! <3

As a guy who streams games on Twitch and soon YouTube, I say random that way you don't overwork yourself and can space out time for yourself. I do that and I feel much better about how I go about showing off games to my small audience.

Random because mezzle wizz fickle twot!

I prefer random to give you that flexibility. Especially with how unpredictable things are nowadays.

Random. Take your time to make each animation in a pace you are comfortable with. Imo that leads to better quality lewds overall

AyQ

Prefer once a week but also to me it doesn't necessarily have to be an animation, like it could be a picture set on a bad week, maybe 1 min anim on a good week, y'know?

Definitely want you to take your time and do things on your schedule. I don't want to become overburdened by the stress and expectations of having to produce like that. Love your work and I want you to continue to love what you do and not get burned out!

Steve

True enough I suppose.

and i don't know how having a fixed deadline takes a HUGE load off of the mind of the guy who has to make it in the first place, but he asked and I gave my opinion, don't like it - don't care, i"m not one who's worried when he posts anything, it happens when it happens

Rooster

hey i'm just saying i have seen it with other things, if you say you are going to do something at a fixed time and then for whatever reason don't someone (especially on the internet) will lose their shit

Rooster

Definitely prefer random because it ours less strain on you and every day could be a surprise.

Who honestly demands uploads? A consistent upload schedual (1 upload day per week) gives him literally 6 out of 7 days to work on what ever he chooses, it doesn't limit his creativity or schedual. All this would do for Screw (the content creator) is allow him to create at his usual pace. All it does for us (the veiwers) is give us a consistent 7 day wait time between when we can expect new content. In short summary, Screw has the same amount of free time to make stuff, and the hopelessly desperate dont have to keep asking "when are you gonna upload something new!" all the time. Basically this takes a HUGE load off everyones minds, EVERYONE WINS. ^_^

Zergling

dont like fixed schedule, take the time to do what you want so it feels good and finished. And also some people might demand an upload because 'reasons'

Rooster

Definetley better to have a set day where you upload stuff, makes your content feel more permanent and reliable. + Start the week with a SWSFM animation??? uhm fuck yeah. lol

Zergling

Not a fan of random uploads, because when you do double or more uploads, the individual animations don’t really get the attention they deserve.
