Patreon's Sale Tax Update

Ok everyone, idk if Patreon has told you, but starting July 1st, Patreon has to start charging certain amounts of sales tax to certain pledges in certain places.
They've taken the BITCH route and decided that for some reason this is the Creator's job to tell you about this.
So, it's pretty simple. Unfortunately, some of you will pay a slightly higher amount because of sales tax going forward. It's a small amount, between 4 and 11% commonly, which means that you'll be paying something like 20 cents to a dollar more on top of your pledge.
Know that this isn't going to the creator, but to some garbage governmental bodies. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to stop it, and we can only hope that you'll still stick with us despite Patreon dropping this on us. I understand some people may no longer want to pledge, but try not to punish the creators for Patreon's garbage management of this, and these new sales tax laws.
Just thought I'd give you a heads up, since Patreon was just planning on not telling anyone and letting it just happen. :/
It only applies to those of you living in certain areas, and if you live in one of those areas, you should be getting an email about it from Patreon.
