Saw the doctor
Added 2019-05-30 06:40:08 +0000 UTCI had the EMG and there is no muscle damage or nerve damage visible. The neurologist put pins in various places and in several vertebrae. And he did not find any compressed nerves or anything that would indicate a need for surgery. It seems to be an irritated muscle in my hand. He suggests physical therapy since it's an old injury. I expect a call back from the doctor who referred me to let me know what to do next. I am going to continue using the ice and anti-inflammatory medication and I expect it to get better with rest. With any luck I will be back at the drawing board soon. I'm not going to do anything stupid, though. Anything I do is very cautious. I've experimented with different angles and positions to avoid putting too much strain on that particular muscle. With mixed success. I'll be back in the swing of things soon though.
Thanks , guys!

Better to take a few days off now than a much bigger break later. Rest well, Dean!
