Okay so! Everyone already knows here they're canonically childhood buddies, so IN THIS CRACKSHIP-- not losing his bestie growing up, not having to be lonely in HSPC that's making them mature too fast all for the sake of being advanced heroes made this version of hawks more carefree in a way

both are just as good as they are as heroes while Hawks is number two and Jiyuu refuses to be labeled on the hero ranks, most of their days when they weren't a couple was already light hearted despite their strict self discipline to flawlessly finish a mission. It wasn't that hard for them to communicate or wear masks towards each other because of their trust built in their youth. Jiyuu's chance to express her emotions on her face is still difficult to obtain but Keigo scores a smile out of her here and there knowing what she likes, her habits, favorite food and vice versa

long story short: Childhood sweethearts dynamic or best friend to lovers kinda thing idk which category they fall
