What a crazy off the wall film!!! Funny anecdote, my brother and I use to play role playing games with out respective friend groups after school. His did D&D, mine V:tM. One of the first times our groups got together (b/c age difference ceased being an issue), he and his friends spent nearly the whole story session acting completely off the wall. It was later revealed, that one of their friends had shown them this film (they were in 7th grade at the time), and they stated this film, solely, had inspired their acting and behavior. 🤣

"A Fistful of Yen" was mostly a spoof of the Bruce Lee movie "Enter the Dragon" (1973) until it turned into a spoof of "The Wizard of Oz". The title is a take-off on the Clint Eastwood western "A Fistful of Dollars" (1964). In the Courtroom skit, the actor playing Wally was the actual actor from "Leave It to Beaver" (1957-1963) and 'Beav' or Beaver was played by Jerry Zucker who was not the original actor from the show.
