2022-02-15 18:43:16 +0000 UTCThe Fancy Lad guys came to the DIY me and some friend built about 40 minutes south of Boston a few times and we skated with them. Surprisingly normal, and chill. Very nice people. Matt is just as good at skating in person as he is in the videos.

Honestly just grinding off the edge of the ledge looks a lot better, validate me. Mostly unsponsored skaters so obviously they can post whatever they want but those berrics cariuma girl pros keep doing it too.

I know you only want to focus on new stuff and this was discussed at 54:00, but I think it would be mad interesting to explore that generation gap and your takes on skating transposed to a pivotal earlier era. Maybe Gonz or Jason Lee’s parts from Blind - Video Days or Brian Lotti from Planet Earth - Now ‘n’ Later? Otherwise, please put out more contemporary video part reviews. You’re very insightful and articulate. Cheers!
