In Australia Christmas is celebrated during summer. So water sports are a big thing here, water skiing, kayaking, surfing etc, bbq's, and camping. Often our Christmas meals are cold seafood and pavlova and fresh fruit, but some of us still have the Traditional Christmas Roast Turkey, Glazed Ham and plum pudding. We still hang stockings and decorate the tree etc. We just run the airconditioning instead of stirring the fire. Electrical appliances are big here, Kitchen Aid appliances, Food Dehydrators, Bread makers, also outdoor furniture.
