There's a webtoon that actually explains most of it. Like, without it, I wouldn't even understand completely. I would really need deep diving. I would like to think BTS, Bang PD, and the director of their MVs collaborated in coming up with this storyline. Because they had so many sources and inspirations from books like Herman Hesse's Demian for not only BST, but also for the Wings short films. It would be a collaborative effort to come up with this storyline. Other than Run, there's also "on stage: prologue" to connect, I think, between I Need U and Run. There are a couple more MVs connected to the BU like the highlight reel, etc, but you go at your own pace. :) But still, the "Save Me" Webtoon helps. It fills the gaps, really, but I think for me, it's best to watch all the BU MVs in order then the webtoon. Haha.

2021-11-18 05:03:57 +0000 UTCThe tricky thing about the BU is that there is so much content that is not in the regular mvs or short films. There's the Red Bullet vcrs that set up the origins, the Webtoon that lays out the basics and fleshes a lot out, and the Notes that fill in a lot of gaps and give more insight, as well as continue the story where the mvs and Webtoon stop off. xCeleste has an amazing video that uses all those sources to lay the story out and tie everything together (there are two actually, an older one and an updated one from this year). When you finish all the regular content it would be a good thing to check it out as it explains sooo much. (though there are still a lot of unanswered questions, and though the main story is 'finished', there's a deeper story left to be revealed)
