Greetings adventurers!
I’m not much of an expert in the field of cosmetics. You see there’s little time or reason for skin care when you spend much of your day tending to magical enchantments and testing questionable alchemical concoctions. When I was approached by a woman in black selling magicked makeup, well I didn’t know what to say. It wasn’t until she gave me a demonstration and I saw what I assumed to be a corpse stumble in through the front door that I realized how powerful something like this could be. Well next time I won’t be so quick to dismiss something just because I didn’t understand it.
Our patrons get early access to all of these items as well as additional formats that are easily usable in both physical and online play for D&D and Pathfinder 2E. Additionally they get high-res art exports, easy to use text exports, behind the scenes updates, and a lot more.

Design notes from Matthew:
This is one of those ideas that just came together incredibly easily. I really love when that’s the case because sometimes I’ll sit and agonize over how to accomplish an idea or I’ll get lost in the functions or direction of an item for a while. Not the case here. I just thought of a makeup compact and what that could do that was interesting. I thought about altering appearances and then thought, well that could be a cool way to deliver some undead qualities. That was all the more dev thought that was needed!
For the 5E version, I knew I wanted to bring back an older thing from previous editions where healing could harm and necrotic could heal the undead. I had loved that as a concept and was always disappointed to see that it didn’t return in 5E. I thought this could be a perfect application for it.
For the PF2E side, the undead trait pretty much does all the heavy lifting for what I wanted. It was basically just offering a delivery method and then making sure it’s open-ended enough to allow for some player shenanigans, which are obviously the best part!
It’s been amazing to see the continuing support that you all have been willing to offer. I’ve been so happy that we can continue to make interesting things for your games. It’s also been so great hearing from those of you that have used our items in your games. If you ever want to share that stuff, pop in the discord. It’s always nice to hear.
We highly encourage you to join our Discord server where you’ll get access to exclusive channels that have sneak peeks, behind the scenes chatter, and more.
