More Augur B2 Work
Added 2024-10-15 02:00:49 +0000 UTCI'm getting some good progress done on a new chapter 17 - I'm about 4.5k words in and will guess the chapter will come out at somewhere around 10k words total.
Part of that is the chapter is me taking the time to do something I've wanted to do for a while - I've always felt like Rose was a character I wasn't taking advantage of as often as I should - she's fun to have around, but I didn't really take enough time to explore her in book 1, and book 2 was more action focused so she faded to the background a little more than I liked. I'm still focusing the current storyline on Tzila, but I saw an opportunity for a side scene that got Rose to open up a little more and I'm taking it.
I'm also getting some additional editing work done on the rest of the manuscript, just tightening up phrasing and language here and there. Nothing major on that front, but since I'm going through and reviewing pacing and scene order, I'm taking the opportunity to clean things up when and where I can.
